Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed that the club is in talks with team captain Cesar Azpilicueta . Earlier it was reported that the Spanish defender could leave the London club.
He is our captain. We are still in dialogue. Given the fact that we have already lost key defenders, this is not an ideal scenario to think about losing Cesar, although I can understand his personal point of view, Tuchel said.
Azpilicueta's current contract expires this summer. The player has made 25 Premier League appearances this season, scoring one goal and making two assists.
