MILWAUKEE CANCELS NBA PLAYOFF SHOW VS BOSTON IN CITY SQUARE DUE TO SHOOTING

The Milwaukee Bucks have canceled the showing of Game 7 of the Western Conference NBA Second Round Playoffs against the Boston Celtics at City Square due to a shooting that took place on the day of Game 6 between the teams, according to the club's website.

After the sixth meeting, which took place on May 14, gunfire erupted in the crowd near Bucks Stadium, injuring two people.

“The shooting that took place last night in downtown Milwaukee was horrendous, and we condemn this devastating violence. We are grateful to law enforcement agencies for their efforts to stabilize the situation. Despite the fact that the incident happened outside the arena, it did not go unnoticed among the fans who left the arena. Safety, health and wellbeing are our priorities. In order to allow law enforcement to allocate the necessary resources to investigate last night's events, we have decided to cancel the scheduled screening at the City Square," the statement said.

The seventh game between the Bucks and the Celtics will be held May 15 in Boston and will begin at 22:30 Moscow time.
