Thomas Frank (Brentford), Josep Guardiola (Manchester City), Eddie Howe (Newcastle), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool) and Patrick Vieira (Crystal Palace) will compete for the title of manager of the season.
The absence of Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo among the nominees is noteworthy. The Portuguese has twice been named Premier League Player of the Month this season and is third in the season's scorer race with 18 goals.
